2020 Tournament Details
FORMAT:
The tournament will be Four-Ball Stroke play over 36 Holes of Competition. The Two competitors play as partners, each playing their own ball throughout. The lower of the partners’ score is used for each hole. Scoring will be Gross only with the exception of the last Flight which may be contested by Net scores, if the Committee deems it necessary to ensure fairness to all participants.
USGA Rules apply with the exception of the following Local Rules. In the event of a Rules dispute, please play out your original ball along with a Provisional Ball and request a ruling before signing your official scorecard.

ELIGIBILITY:
- All participants must be amateurs and at least 21 years of age.
- No varsity high school or college players are eligible.
- Non Le Triomphe Members must have a Handicap attested by a Club Professional.
FLIGHTS:
- The field will consist of approximately 64 teams (128 players).
- The 64 teams will be divided into 4 Flights of 16 teams each.
- All teams will be Flighted based on the lower handicap of the team members.
- The Tournament Committee recommends that partners' handicaps be 5 strokes of one another and reserve the right to Flight any team.
- Teams will be competing against those in their Flight alone.
- Participants from the 1st or 2nd Flight are eligible to win the Overall Championship.

Competitors must remain on following tee box throughout the event.

SCORECARDS:
- Please pick up your scorecard at your designated Tee Box (#1 or #10) five minutes before play.
- Exchange with your playing partners and return to the scoring table after play.
- All cards must be signed and attested.
- As per Rule 6-6, the competitor is responsible for the correctness of the score recorded for each hole on his scorecard. If he returns a score for any hole lower than actually taken, he is DISQUALIFIED. If he returns a score for any hole higher than actually taken, the score as returned stands.
MISCELLANEOUS RULES:
- The 14-Club Rule and Embedded Ball Rule are in effect.
- The One Ball Rule is not in effect.
- USGA approved rangefinders are allowed as long as they do not measure slope.
- For all roads that border the course, the concrete curb defines the out of bounds. A ball which crosses a public road defined as out of bounds and comes to rest beyond that road is out of bounds, even though it may lie on another part of the course. Rule 27-1 applies.
- All Penalty Areas are marked by yellow stakes and/or lines.
- All Penalty Areas are marked by red stakes and/or lines.
- Out of Bounds is marked by white stakes.
- Ground Under Repair is marked by white paint.
- The use of caddies during the event will NOT be permitted.
PRACTICE:
- Rule 7-1 is in effect: Prohibits practice on the course between rounds. Penalty for breach of this rule is disqualification.
SLOW PLAY:
- Any group that falls one hole behind the group in front of them will have 2 holes to catch up. If they do not it will be determined which team or teams is at fault and they will be penalized 2 strokes. Multiple offenses will result in disqualification.
DRESS CODE:
- All players must wear golf related attire (tucked in collared shirt or mock polo and mid-thigh length shorts).
- Swim trunks, cutoffs, workout shorts, denim and tank tops are not permitted.
- Le Triomphe is a soft spike facility.
